What it tastes like
Tart and astringent, with jamun's dry, slightly puckering finish and its deep purple colour. Less sweet than most fruit blends, and it will turn your tongue purple.
Jamun has a short season, around June and July.
A Cane Blend is pressed cane and jamun only, with nothing to soften either, so it is the most direct way to taste jamun.
How it's made
