What it tastes like
Sour and a little astringent at first, then the cane rounds it off and leaves the sweet aftertaste amla is known for. Sharp, cleansing and very South Indian.
Amla is a winter fruit, in season from about November to February.
A Cane Blend is pressed cane and gooseberry only, with nothing to soften either, so it is the most direct way to taste gooseberry.
How it's made
- 1PressFresh sugarcane is washed, peeled and pressed.
